Great image – instant impact no doubt due to the immediate eye contact.

Things that I think have worked really well: the character herself – she has a superbly quirky face. And the choice of accessories (choker, earrings, stud) goes well with the character you’ve created. It adds up to a nicely original take on a classic portrait theme.

Technically you’ve got the depth of field just right – her eyes are sharp as they should be. The light is quite soft. It would be interesting to see this with one of the lights acting more like a rim light.

The only thing I’d criticise is the hairline on the left of her head – the line looks quite sharp. But that’s the only thing – overall I really like this.
